" We have been fortunate enough to take part in a Borealis Brain experience.

Through our many travels, we have had countless wonderful moments, but this format made the experience so intense that it awakened far deeper emotions. Entering a personal home, being welcomed with a healthy drink, listening to calming music, and gazing out at a divinely beautiful view deeply moved us both. Our charming host, Eivind, served a delicious meal of reindeer meat and assorted vegetables.

On Eivind’s terrace, we witnessed the most magical sight. For almost 45 minutes, the Northern Lights exploded behind Reinebringen. They were so strong that they reflected in the water. We will never forget this magical experience.

As part of the Borealis Brain program, we had agreed to climb Reinebringen, despite my slight fear of heights. We thought we would be satisfied reaching 1,000 of the 2,000 steps. But Eivind read us perfectly. Deep down, we wanted to reach the summit—if only we were guided through our doubts.

As Danes, we had little experience with steep mountain hikes. But we were guided to stay focused, to believe we could do it, and to use physical techniques to avoid lactic acid in our legs while keeping a safe footing.

To dare to cross a boundary the brain thought impossible—through Borealis Brain.

Sharing the experience together at the top of Reinebringen was indescribable.

A fantastic ending after the descent was the offer of a shower at Borealis Brain—much needed!

We were able to stay overnight nearby in our campervan. The next morning, we were completely blown away when Eivind brought us sourdough bread and freshly baked cinnamon buns from Lofoten’s oldest wood-fired oven, enjoyed in the morning sun on Borealis Brain’s bench. This truly unique travel experience has left us certain that we want more adventures with Borealis Brain.

A journey that goes much deeper than usual, activating all the senses with the clear purpose of creating deeper self-insight.

Warm regards,

Jarl and Mette "
